Creative writing workshop in journalism

Medina Book Club and La Renaissance organize a 6-month creative writing workshop in journalism using Mobile digital media for reporting and making the news. The course of workshops will be taught by journalist and videographer Elizia Volkmann. Participants will learn how to cover stories relating to international causes and issues that impact the Tunisian community and the world. These articles will be then published on our collective blog.
More details: New ways to report and broadcast the news or your news and ideas with your mobile phone for journalists. The workshop will also have a look at the new apps and techniques to report, and tell news stories.
You will need a smart phone, plenty of data storage on your phone. You can also bring your ipad and a good old fashioned pen and note book.
Elizia Volkmann is a digital journalist working for news agencies and a member of Hacks/Hackers.
The workshop will start in November and will be twice a month and the participation fees are 30dinars/ month.
After completing the six month course participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance and will be invited to continue contributing to our blog.

Medina Book Club et La Renaissance inaugure le cycle de projections de films et documentaires sur la vie d'écrivains et poètes avec le film qui raconte la vie de la femme de lettres anglaise Jane Austen, auteure du fameux livre " Orgueils et préjugés ". La projection aura lieu au local de l'institut de langues, La Renaissance à 24, rue Ibn Hazem Alandalosie au Manzeh 7 et sera suivie d'un débat animé par Mme. Neila Moussa.

La salle de cinéma Amilcar au Manar organise une projection de film " Juste la fin du monde ", le film dramatique de Xavier Dolan samedi et dimanche, le 15 et 16 Octobre. 

Synopsis: 
Après douze ans d’absence, un écrivain retourne dans son village natal pour annoncer à sa famille sa mort prochaine.Ce sont les retrouvailles avec le cercle familial où l’on se dit l’amour que l’on se porte à travers les éternelles querelles, et où l’on dit malgré nous les rancoeurs qui parlent au nom du doute et de la solitude.
