Medina Book Club and La Renaissance organize a 6-month creative writing workshop in journalism using Mobile digital media for reporting and making the news. The course of workshops will be taught by journalist and videographer Elizia Volkmann. Participants will learn how to cover stories relating to international causes and issues that impact the Tunisian community and the world. These articles will be then published on our collective blog.

You will need a smart phone, plenty of data storage on your phone. You can also bring your ipad and a good old fashioned pen and note book.
Elizia Volkmann is a digital journalist working for news agencies and a member of Hacks/Hackers.
The workshop will start in November and will be twice a month and the participation fees are 30dinars/ month.
After completing the six month course participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance and will be invited to continue contributing to our blog.
